Hmm it appears like your blog ate my first comment (it was extremely long) so I guess I'll just sum it up what I had written and say, I'm thoroughly enjoying your blog. I too am an aspiring blog writer but I'm still new to the whole thing. Do you have any helpful hints for newbie blog writers? I'd certainly appreciate it.

Your story is a great tale from "beginnings" to now in the life of a BBQ Sauce crafter/mfg and competition team.
A very enjoyable read, you also have the gift of good writing in addition to being a great sauce chef!

I consider DBQ to be the Cadillac of sauces, and your success is well deserved.

We just got the final numbers in and we took in $22k (yes thousand) dollars in 3 days time. All of that money, every penny went to the charity. The guys that came in to help with the event did so out of their own pockets and because they have huge hearts. The Tucker Family is a loving one and one that does good for those in need while doing great in competition!
By the neglected to mention in your post that YOU let me borrow your own personal pit. We could NOT have cooked that much meat without all the 3 Tucker Cookers we had on site and the 2 other pits that shall remain nameless ;)

Thanks again for all you do and bringing us all together and I expect to see you and George up here in W. Ky next Sept!
